Texas Wood Carvers Guild Spring Round Up
Whittling Contest Intermediate Category

Contestants were given one hour to carve.  There are three skill levels:  Open (expert), Intermediate and Novice.
 
Intermediate carvers were allowed to use two tools.  The subject for the contest was the 1920's.  
Each skill level was given a specific topic.  Novice carvers were to carve a shoe from the 1920's.  
Intermediate carvers were to carve a male character clothed in the 1920's.  Open (Expert) carvers were to carve a flapper.
